We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage Special Purpose Machine (SPM) and Industrial Automation projects from project kickoff to final customer handover. The ideal candidate should ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and complete projects within the defined timeline and budget.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Assembly, Electrical, and Quality teams.
- Prepare project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Track project progress and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Communicate project status with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, risks, and change requests.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct project review meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Coordinate machine installation, commissioning, trials, and customer acceptance.
- Ensure successful project closure and documentation.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in SPM, Automation, or Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, machining, assembly, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, installations, and project reviews.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Project Management methodologies.
- Experience in vendor coordination and customer handling.
- Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-based automation systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards.
