The Relationship Manager will act as the bridge between the dealership and its customers—both prospective and existing. The role involves driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, ensuring customer retention, and representing the dealership with professionalism. The person will handle end-to-end customer experience, from generating leads/enquiries through to car delivery and after-sales follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and follow up on sales leads and enquiries (walk-ins, phone calls, events, referrals etc.).
- Conduct test-drives, vehicle demonstrations, highlight features and benefits of Maruti Suzuki models.
- Understand customer needs, preferences, budget etc., and recommend suitable vehicle options.
- Negotiate pricing, offers, trade-ins, insurance, financing etc., in line with dealership policy.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, service, delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery process.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular follow-ups, feedback, offering periodic service or accessory offers etc.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues quickly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain knowledge of product specifications, market trends, competitor activity, promotions.
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) system with all interactions, leads, follow-ups and sales status.
- Assist in promotional and marketing activities (local outreach, events, tie-ups etc.).
- Provide reports to management on sales performance, pipeline, customer feedback, challenges etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate (any discipline) is preferred.
- Prior experience: 1-3 years in automobile sales or related customer‐facing sales roles. (Freshers may be considered if they show strong aptitude & communication skills.)
- Valid driving licence (4-wheeler) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bengaluru / local geography is beneficial.
