HR Executive – Roles & Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for shop-floor operators, fabricators, welders, machine operators, supervisors, and office staff
- Coordinate with production/plant heads to forecast manpower requirements based on order volume
- Conduct sourcing (local ITI/polytechnic tie-ups, contractor labor agencies, job portals) and screening
- Handle onboarding, induction, and documentation (Aadhar, PAN, bank details, educational/experience certificates)
- Issue appointment letters and ensure joining formalities are completed
2. Attendance, Payroll & Compliance
- Maintain daily attendance/biometric records for shop-floor and office employees (including shift workers)
- Process monthly payroll inputs — overtime (OT), shift allowance, incentives, and deductions
- Ensure timely disbursement of wages as per the Payment of Wages Act
- Coordinate with accounts/finance for salary processing and reconciliation
3. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 (working hours, health & safety, welfare provisions)
- Manage PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act registrations and monthly filings
- Maintain statutory registers (Form 25, muster roll, wage registers, accident register)
- Liaise with Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate, PF/ESI offices for inspections and audits
- Handle Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act compliance if contract workers are engaged
- Ensure Shops & Establishment, Fire NOC, and Pollution Control Board related HR documentation is current
4. Industrial & Employee Relations
- Act as a liaison between management and shop-floor workforce to address grievances
- Handle disciplinary matters, show-cause notices, and domestic enquiries as per Standing Orders
- Support union/works committee interactions (if applicable) and maintain harmonious industrial relations
- Manage absenteeism, misconduct, and disciplinary action documentation
5. Health, Safety & Welfare (critical in sheet metal/fabrication units)
- Coordinate with Safety Officer on PPE compliance (helmets, gloves, safety shoes, goggles for welding/cutting operations)
- Support implementation of safety training (machine handling, fire safety, first-aid)
- Maintain accident/incident registers and coordinate Workmen's Compensation / ESI claims in case of injury
- Ensure canteen, restroom, drinking water, and other statutory welfare facilities are maintained per Factories Act
6. Training & Development
- Identify skill-gap training needs for machine operators (CNC, press brake, laser cutting, welding)
- Organize induction training, safety training, and skill upgradation programs
- Maintain training records and certifications (e.g., welding certification, crane/forklift operator licenses)
7. Performance Management
- Coordinate periodic performance appraisals for shop-floor supervisors and office staff
- Support goal-setting, KPI tracking, and increment/promotion recommendations
- Maintain performance records to support confirmation post-probation
8. Exit Management
- Handle resignation, termination, and retirement formalities
- Conduct exit interviews and coordinate full & final settlement (including gratuity, PF withdrawal, notice pay)
- Ensure timely issuance of relieving letters and experience certificates
9. HR Administration & MIS
- Maintain employee personal files, service records, and HR database (physical + digital)
- Prepare HR MIS reports — headcount, attrition, absenteeism, overtime trends — for management review
- Manage ID cards, uniforms, and other administrative provisions for shop-floor staff
10. Audit & Documentation Support
- Support internal/external audits (ISO 9001, customer audits, statutory inspections)
- Ensure HR records are audit-ready (attendance, wage registers, safety training logs, PF/ESI challans)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,104.66 per month
