Job Summary
The Biology Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging biology lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering scientific curiosity. The teacher helps students understand biological concepts through lectures, laboratory activities, and practical demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver biology lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and laboratory activities.
- Conduct practical experiments while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations.
- Maintain accurate student records and provide regular feedback.
- Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Stay updated with advancements in biology and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master's preferred for senior positions).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification (where applicable).
- Valid teaching certification/licensure as required by local regulations.

Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹500.00 per hour
