About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee inventory management, procurement coordination, stock control, and material handling operations for our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimum inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and support seamless hotel operations through efficient store management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations and inventory control.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and balances.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Coordinate with various departments for material requirements and issuance.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials.
- Maintain inventory management systems and documentation.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department and vendors regarding deliveries and stock requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in store management, preferably in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality establishments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock management practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hotel stores, food & beverage inventory management, or hospitality procurement.
- Familiarity with stock auditing and vendor coordination.
