About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Online Bidder / Business Development Executive (BDE) to generate new business opportunities through freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, Fiverr, and similar marketplaces.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in bidding, proposal writing, client communication, lead generation, and project acquisition within the IT services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize company profiles on Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms.
- Search, analyze, and bid on relevant projects daily based on company services and expertise.
- Write customized, persuasive, and high-converting proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Communicate with prospective clients through messages, chats, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Negotiate project budgets, timelines, and scope to successfully close deals.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, and project managers to prepare project estimates and proposals.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through regular follow-ups and relationship management.
- Convert leads into long-term clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Maintain records of bidding activities, leads, conversions, and revenue generated.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an Online Bidder or Business Development Executive.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, etc.
- Strong understanding of IT services including:
- Website Development
- WordPress Development
- E-commerce Solutions
- Mobile App Development
- UI/UX Design
- Digital Marketing Services
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to understand project requirements and prepare professional proposals.
- Strong negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Familiarity with bidding strategies, lead generation techniques, and project acquisition processes.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, and other communication tools.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong track record of winning projects from international clients.
- Experience handling multiple freelance platforms simultaneously.
- Ability to achieve monthly revenue and lead-generation targets.
- Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
