NEEDED : Special Educator – Psychology Freshers Welcome
Kriyative International School is looking for a caring, responsible, and committed Special Educator / Learning Support Educator who is passionate about creating a meaningful impact in children’s lives.
Candidates with a background in Psychology, Child Development, Counselling, or Special Education are encouraged to apply. Freshers with strong communication skills, commitment, and a willingness to learn are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and assess children who require additional academic, behavioural, emotional, social, or developmental support
- Prepare, implement, and regularly review Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
- Set clear, measurable, and achievable goals for each child
- Conduct individual and small-group intervention sessions
- Modify activities, worksheets, and teaching strategies according to the child’s needs
- Work closely with class teachers to support inclusion within the classroom
- Track each child’s progress against the goals mentioned in the IEP
- Maintain detailed session notes, observation records, assessment reports, progress reports, and follow-up records
- Document behavioural patterns, learning difficulties, improvements, and areas requiring further intervention
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding the child’s progress, concerns, goals, and home-support strategies
- Conduct scheduled parent meetings and maintain proper notes of discussions and agreed action points
- Coordinate with teachers, school leaders, counsellors, therapists, and external professionals when required
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
- Support children in developing communication, confidence, independence, emotional regulation, social skills, and positive behaviour
- Participate actively in training programmes, workshops, case discussions, reviews, and school activities
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, Counselling, or a related field
- Have a genuine interest in working with children who need additional support
- Have strong spoken and written communication skills
- Be able to communicate sensitively and confidently with parents
- Be organised and capable of maintaining accurate documentation
- Be patient, empathetic, observant, and solution-oriented
- Be willing to learn how to prepare and implement effective IEPs
- Be open to feedback, mentoring, and continuous professional development
- Demonstrate strong commitment, reliability, and professional conduct
- Be willing to grow with the school for the long term
Experience
- Freshers may apply
- Prior experience in special education, counselling, child development, therapy, or learning support will be an advantage
- Training in IEP preparation, behaviour management, inclusive education, or remedial teaching will be preferred but is not mandatory
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
