JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to maintain and enhance the visual appearance of our 4-star hotel. The successful candidate will perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and maintenance work throughout the property, ensuring all areas meet our high standards of quality and aesthetics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Paint interior and exterior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and furniture
- Perform touch-up painting in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and offices
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, priming, and patching defects
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades and consistency
- Protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures from paint damage using drop cloths and masking
- Repair minor wall damage, cracks, and holes before painting
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition
- Stock and organize paint supplies and materials
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and working at heights
- Complete painting projects within specified timelines
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- 2+ years of experience as a painter, preferably in hospitality industry
- Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and finishes
- Ability to read color charts and mix paints accurately
- Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 kg
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Preferred:
- Experience working in hotels or commercial properties
- Knowledge of waterproofing and wall putty application
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
