Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, stimulating, and child-centric learning environment by effectively integrating Montessori principles with CBSE early years academic standards.
Experience Required
- 1–3 years of experience in Montessori or Early Childhood Education
Qualifications
- Diploma in Montessori / ECCE / NTT
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- B.Ed. preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Montessori methodology to support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
- Create and maintain a well-prepared classroom environment with age-appropriate Montessori materials
- Plan and execute structured lessons aligned with CBSE foundational stage guidelines
- Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress
- Encourage independent learning, creativity, and critical thinking
- Maintain classroom discipline, hygiene, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents through meetings and regular updates
- Collaborate with co-teachers and actively participate in school activities and training programs
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English
- Patience, compassion, and a child-first approach
- Prior experience in a CBSE school is an added advantage
