To study a design brief and think of possible design solutions. To use Solid Works & Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create prototypes. To research whether the design will work and be cost-effective after assessing the usability, environmental impact and safety of a design. To collect and analyze data from tests on prototypes and modify designs and retest them. To ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met.
