Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef responsible for assisting in overall kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen standards, managing inventory, and supporting efficient team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu standards
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory management
- Handle ordering, storage, and proper utilization of kitchen supplies
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
- Ensure proper food presentation and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Chef/Sous Chef
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen management
- Experience in inventory control and stock management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
