Svaya Robotics seeks a technically oriented candidate with excellent experience in wire harness design and integration.

Key Responsibilities

Design of the harness for Robot Controller Box and space constrained Robotic Arm including 3D modelling using tools like CREO.
Lead harness integration activities from concept to production.
Develop and review wiring diagrams and electrical drawings and harness layouts.
Perform connector selection and wiring selection, terminal sizing, and component specification based on application requirements and engineering calculations.
Have a good understanding of EMI/EMC risks and technical acumen to resolve these issues from harness point of view.
Ensure reliability, durability, and safety of harness systems through design validation and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality.
Support prototype builds, testing, and production launches.
Troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective actions.
Establish cable assembly procedure and to carry out the cable crimping using crimping tools.
Actively participate in discussion with cross-functional team members to execute the assigned task within the time limitations.

Required Skills

5–7 years of experience in wiring harness design and integration.
Strong expertise in electrical schematic design tools (e.g., CATIA Electrical, Capital, E3. series, or similar).
Solid experience in connector selection and harness components.
Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, validation, and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R, and changing management processes.
Understanding relevant standards (IPC, ISO, automotive, MIL standards).
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical /electrical / Automotive Engineering or related field.
