- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications.
- Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP documentation as per IATF 16949.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, and tooling teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & EHS requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IATF, ISO & EHS standards.
- Support design feasibility, sample development & customer approvals.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA for deviations.
- Ensure quality planning and compliance throughout product development.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, and Customer teams.
- Communicate customer requirements and ensure timely project deliverables.
- Support vendor development for new components and materials.
- Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effectiveness in production.
- Ensure all product designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Monitor project progress and address risks to ensure timely product launch.
Documentation as per IATF, ISO & EHS
- Prepare and maintain all NPD documentation:
- Control Plan
- Work Instructions
- Process Flow Diagram
- PPAP File
- APQP Documents
Skills Required:
- AutoCAD, CAD (SolidWorks)
- Experience in springs, sheet metal.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA and CAD tools..
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
