The Site Accountant will oversee financial operations at the site level, ensuring accurate handling of petty cash, vendor billing, reconciliations, and purchase order processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective coordination with the Head Office (HO) accounts team, and adherence to established SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Petty Cash Management
- Maintain and control petty cash funds.
- Record, verify, and reconcile petty cash transactions with proper documentation.
- Conciliation & Reconciliation Reports
- Prepare conciliation reports for site-level accounts.
- Conduct vendor billing reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Vendor Billing & Reconciliation
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Log Book Entries
- Check and verify daily log book entries.
- Ensure proper management and compliance of site transaction records.
- Purchase Orders & SOPs
- Initiate purchase orders in line with site requirements.
- Follow and enforce SOPs for procurement and accounting processes.
- Coordination with Head Office (HO)
- Act as the primary point of contact between site and HO accounts team.
- Provide necessary reports, clarifications, and updates as required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in site-level accounting or similar role.
Familiarity with vendor management and purchase order systems.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
