1. Market Research & Opportunity Identification
- Analyze trends in the solar energy market (residential, commercial, industrial, utility-scale).
- Identify new geographic markets and potential customer segments.
- Stay updated on government policies, subsidies, and incentives related to solar power.
2. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Generate leads through cold calls, networking, events, and digital platforms.
- Qualify potential customers by understanding their energy needs and budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., business owners, facility managers, government officials).
3. Sales & Proposal Development
- Present solar solutions to clients (e.g., rooftop, ground-mounted, off-grid/on-grid systems).
- Create and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and cost estimation of projects.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
4. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with the project, design, and installation teams to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor progress and resolve client concerns during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure client satisfaction post-installation.
5. Partnership & Channel Development
- Build partnerships with EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) firms, vendors, and solar installers.
- Manage third-party channels and distributors for sales support.
- Identify and engage with financial institutions for solar financing options.
6. Regulatory & Policy Compliance
- Stay informed about local/state/national solar energy policies and compliance requirements.
- Assist clients in availing government incentives, subsidies, or net metering benefits.
7. Reporting & Strategy Development
- Track sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
- Provide regular business forecasts and strategy inputs to senior management.
- Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions and sales data.
