Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-performing Account Manager / Seller responsible for driving revenue, managing key accounts, and closing enterprise IT deals across North & East India.
This role is focused on:
Owning and growing strategic accounts
Driving end-to-end sales cycles
Building CXO-level relationships
Converting qualified leads into revenue
You will work closely with ISR/BD, Presales, OEM partners, and leadership to drive deal closure and account expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Ownership & Growth
Manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market accounts
Build strong relationships with CXOs, IT Heads and decision-makers
Identify upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities within accounts
Develop account plans aligned with revenue targets
2. Revenue Generation & Deal Closure
Own the complete sales cycle: Opportunity → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure
Drive large and mid-sized IT infrastructure deals (cloud, datacentre, security, DR)
Work closely with presales to position solution-led proposals
Ensure consistent achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue targets
3. Solution Selling
Understand customer IT landscape (on-prem, cloud, hybrid, DR/BCP, security)
Map business challenges to solutions such as:
oCloud & Tech9IQ workloads
oDatacentre modernization
oBackup & disaster recovery
oCybersecurity solutions
Present tailored solutions aligned to business outcomes (TCO, scalability, resilience)
4. Stakeholder & CXO Engagement
Lead customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Build trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders
Represent the company in high-level discussions and strategic engagements
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work closely with ISR/BD teams for qualified lead conversion
Collaborate with Presales for solution design and technical alignment
Coordinate with OEM partners for joint selling, pricing, and deal support
6. OEM & Partner Management
Engage with OEM account managers for:
oJoint customer meetings
oDeal registrations and pricing support
oCo-selling opportunities
Leverage partner ecosystem to accelerate deal closures
7. CRM & Sales Governance
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM
Track deal stages, risks, and next steps
Provide weekly/monthly updates to leadership
8. Market Intelligence
Stay updated on industry trends (cloud, infra, cybersecurity)
Track competitor positioning and pricing strategies
Bring insights to improve win rates and positioning
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue target achievement (monthly/quarterly/annual)
Deal closure rate and average deal size
Account growth (upsell/cross-sell revenue)
Pipeline conversion ratio
CXO engagement and relationship strength
Forecast accuracy and CRM hygiene
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
8–15 years of experience in B2B Enterprise IT Sales / Infrastructure Sales
Strong experience in closing deals and managing key accounts
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Strong understanding of IT solutions:
oCloud (AWS, Azure, Private cloud)
oDatacentre & Virtualization
oStorage, Backup, DR
oCybersecurity
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Preferred
Experience working with OEMs like Nutanix, IBM, Cisco, Dell, etc.
Exposure to enterprise accounts in North & East India
Experience in solution selling and consultative sales approach
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
Strong ownership of 10–20 key accounts
Consistent deal closures and revenue contribution
Trusted advisor to customers and OEM partners
Active pipeline with predictable forecasting
Contribution to strategic growth and expansion
Travel: Moderate travel across North & East for client meetings
Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
