A Sales Promoter is responsible for promoting a company’s products directly to customers, increasing product visibility, generating interest, and boosting sales. They act as the face of the brand at shops, events, exhibitions, or retail outlets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Product Promotion
- Demonstrate and explain products to customers.
- Highlight product features, benefits, and pricing.
- Encourage customers to try or purchase the product.
2. Sales & Target Achievement
- Assist the sales team in increasing product sales at the retail outlet.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell products when possible.
3. Customer Interaction
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly manner.
- Answer customer queries about the product.
- Handle basic complaints or redirect customers to the right person.
4. Product Display & Merchandising
- Arrange and maintain product displays attractively.
- Ensure product shelves are clean, well-stocked, and properly labeled.
- Monitor product expiry dates and report near-expiry stock.
5. Brand Awareness
- Maintain a positive image of the company and represent the brand professionally.
- Distribute samples, brochures, or promotional materials if assigned.
6. Feedback Collection
- Collect customer feedback on products.
- Report customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities to the manager.
7. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily sales reports.
- Coordinate with the sales manager and provide updates on product performance.
- Inform management about stock levels, customer demand, and challenges.
