Key Responsibilities
- Drive a 14-foot commercial truck for the safe transportation of goods.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials according to the assigned schedule.
- Load and unload goods when required, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team for smooth operations.
- Ensure the security of goods during transit.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driving License (Transport License).
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 14-foot commercial truck.
- Good knowledge of roads and routes in Delhi NCR.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation applications.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and handle goods when required.
- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
- No major traffic violations or criminal record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, or e-commerce transportation.
- Knowledge of basic documentation related to deliveries.
- Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers.
