Spectrum Solar is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Solar to lead and manage solar EPC projects across Kerala. The role requires frequent travel throughout the state for site surveys, project execution, commissioning, client meetings, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects across Kerala.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Monitor project progress and prepare technical and status reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and cost control.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar project execution, EPC, or electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical installations, and commissioning.
- Experience handling multiple project sites simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and project documentation.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in solar EPC project management.
- Familiarity with Kerala electrical regulations and utility approvals.
- Ability to independently manage project sites and client interactions.
