About the Role
NetTech India is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right career-oriented courses. The ideal candidate should have strong counselling, communication, and admission conversion skills while ensuring an excellent experience for students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding career options and professional certification programs.
- Understand students' educational background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, walk-ins, and online leads.
- Convert enquiries into admissions by providing accurate course information and career guidance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students throughout the admission process.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to achieve monthly admission targets.
- Coordinate with academic, operations, and support teams for smooth admission and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.
- Resolve student queries professionally and provide end-to-end admission support.
- Mentor junior counsellors and support the team in achieving departmental goals.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling and persuasion abilities.
- Student-centric approach with excellent relationship management.
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Good negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (Postgraduate preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Education Counselling, Admission Counselling, Academic Sales, or Student Counselling.
- Proven track record of achieving admission or revenue targets.
- Experience in leading or mentoring a counselling team is an added advantage.

Working Days
- 6 Days a Week (Weekly Off as per Company Policy)
