Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and contribute to the agency's growth. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a digital marketing agency and possess a strong understanding of digital marketing services. This role requires a proactive professional who can identify business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, conduct client meetings, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, WhatsApp, and other prospecting channels.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with CXOs, Founders, Marketing Heads, Brand Managers, and other key decision-makers.
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and convert them into qualified business opportunities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and discussions to understand business requirements and propose suitable digital marketing solutions.
- Present agency services, including SEO, Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing, Content Marketing, Branding, and Website Development.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and project handover after deal closure.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, meetings, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the agency at networking events, industry forums, and business meetings to generate new leads and partnerships.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Business Development, Client Acquisition, Agency Sales, or Digital Marketing Sales.
- Prior experience working with a Digital Marketing Agency is mandatory.
- Proven track record of lead generation, client acquisition, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services, including SEO, Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing, Content Marketing, Branding, and Website Development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as CXOs, Founders, Marketing Heads, and Brand Managers.
- Strong prospecting and consultative selling abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tools such as Zoho CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, Google Workspace, Canva, and online research tools.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to improve productivity, research, and sales effectiveness.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with client visits, face-to-face meetings, and business travel as required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
