Job Summary
The Kitchen Helper supports daily operations in a Kerala-style cloud kitchen by assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, handling raw materials, and ensuring smooth order dispatch. The role requires speed, hygiene discipline, and the ability to work during peak delivery hours.
Key Responsibilities1. Food Preparation Support
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables (onion, coconut, curry leaves, etc.).
- Clean and prepare fish, chicken, and meat.
- Assist in grinding masala and coconut paste.
- Prepare dough for porotta and batter for appam/idiyappam.
- Support bulk preparation during peak hours.
2. Order Packing & Dispatch
- Pack food items as per order checklist.
- Ensure correct portioning.
- Label and seal delivery containers properly.
- Coordinate with delivery pickup staff .
3. Cleaning & Hygiene
- Wash utensils and cooking vessels.
- Clean kitchen floor and workstations.
- Maintain storage shelves.
- Follow FSSAI hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste properly.
4. Inventory Assistance
- Assist in receiving raw materials.
- Store items properly (FIFO method).
- Inform supervisor if stock is low.
Skills & Requirements
- Basic kitchen experience preferred (hotel/restaurant/cloud kitchen).
- Ability to work long hours during peak time.
- Physically fit and quick in work.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene.
- Team-oriented and disciplined.
Working Conditions
- 10–12 hour shift.
- Weekend and festival working required.
- Weekly one day off.
Performance Expectations
- Maintain cleanliness at all times.
- Fast and accurate order packing.
- Minimal raw material wastage.
- Follow instructions strictly.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹27,438.98 per month
