About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEO Team Lead to take charge of end-to-end SEO strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role demands a well-rounded SEO expert who can lead a team, drive organic growth, and consistently deliver measurable results. You’ll be responsible for shaping SEO strategies, mentoring team members, managing client communication, and ensuring the highest standard of work is delivered on time.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and lead comprehensive SEO strategies across multiple industries, ensuring alignment with client objectives and performance goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of SEO executives, ensuring optimal task delegation, project quality, and timely delivery.
- Oversee all aspects of SEO including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, content optimization, and backlink strategies.
- Perform regular website audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP monitoring.
- Monitor and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc., and take corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all deliverables.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, presenting reports, insights, and future recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms, industry trends, and emerging SEO tools.
- Create structured reporting formats (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) and dashboards for performance tracking.
- Ensure workflow efficiency, resolve project blockers, and proactively identify growth opportunities for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in SEO with a minimum of 1–2 years in a team leadership role.
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage client relationships.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; certifications in digital marketing/SEO are an added advantage.
