Job Purpose
The Clinical Development Lead is responsible for strengthening therapist capability and continuously advancing Oppam's clinical services. The role leads therapist learning and development, clinical innovation, resource development, research, and service improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and impact of mental healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Therapist Learning & Development
- Coordinate therapist onboarding, competency development, and continuing professional development activities.
- Identify learning needs and organise internal training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support supervision processes by tracking developmental goals and competencies.
Clinical Innovation & Service Development
- Lead the development and improvement of clinical programmes, interventions, and service pathways.
- Develop and periodically review clinical SOPs, treatment frameworks, and practice guidelines in collaboration with clinical leadership.
- Design and support pilot projects for new services and innovations.
Clinical Resources
- Develop and maintain psychoeducation materials, therapist manuals, worksheets, intervention toolkits, and other clinical resources.
- Build and manage a central knowledge repository for therapists.
Research & Outcome Evaluation
- Support research, literature reviews, programme evaluation, and outcome monitoring.
- Analyse therapist and client feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Promote evidence-informed practice across the organisation.
Qualifications
Essential
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
Preferred
- M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology / RCI Registration
- Experience in therapist training, programme development, research, or clinical innovation.
