Job Summary
Legal Capital Law Firm is looking for an experienced and dedicated Advocate to join our Bengaluru team. The ideal candidate should have strong litigation experience and hands-on exposure to Bengaluru courts, with good knowledge of court procedures, case handling, drafting, and client representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and represent clients before Bengaluru courts and relevant judicial forums.
- Manage civil, criminal, family, property, recovery, and other litigation matters as assigned.
- Draft petitions, plaints, written statements, applications, affidavits, notices, and other legal documents.
- Attend court hearings and effectively represent clients.
- Conduct legal research and provide appropriate legal opinions.
- Coordinate with clients, court staff, advocates, and internal legal teams.
- Maintain case files, hearing updates, documentation, and case-status records.
- Prepare matters for hearings and ensure timely filing of required documents.
- Independently manage assigned cases and follow up on matters until closure.
- Stay updated with relevant laws, judgments, court procedures, and legal developments.
Requirements
- LL.B from a recognized university.
- Valid enrollment with the State Bar Council.
- 3+ years of relevant litigation experience preferred.
- Strong and proven exposure to Bengaluru courts is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Bengaluru court procedures and filing processes.
- Strong drafting, legal research, negotiation, and argumentation skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Candidates who have regularly appeared before Bengaluru courts will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experienced litigation advocate with a strong understanding of local court practices.
- Candidates with an established network and professional familiarity within the Bengaluru legal ecosystem will be an added advantage.
- Should be proactive, professional, confident, and committed to client representation.
