We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers and project teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Conduct UI/UX, usability, and cross-browser testing.
- Test web, mobile, and API applications.
- Validate data integrity and database records when required.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Prepare test reports and provide regular status updates.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance software quality.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in manual testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of test case design techniques.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
- Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools is an added advantage.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in preparing test documentation and test reports
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
