We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic *Academic Head* to lead and manage our team of English trainers and tuition trainers. This role is pivotal in maintaining academic excellence, developing training modules, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact sessions across all programs.
Key Responsibilities*
Team Leadership:
- Lead, guide, and supervise a large team of English language trainers and tuition trainers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure high teaching standards are maintained.
Academic Planning & Execution:
- Oversee curriculum design, module development, and implementation for all English and tuition programs.
- Ensure that all modules are regularly updated to meet educational goals and student needs.
Hiring & Onboarding:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment of new trainers.
- Conduct demo class evaluations and trainer assessments.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Trainer Training & Development:
- Design and deliver regular training sessions and workshops for trainers.
- Monitor class quality and provide academic support to trainers when needed.
Operational Duties:
- Coordinate with other departments such as Sales, Student Support, and Management to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Handle batch planning, attendance tracking, and overall training schedules.
Quality Assurance & Reporting:
- Monitor trainer performance and session quality through regular audits and feedback systems.
- Provide timely academic reports and improvement strategies to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of academic/training leadership experience, preferably in English language education.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for training and reporting.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in online and offline training environments.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and training pedagogy.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
