Assistant Manager – Billing
Location: Okhla, New Delhi – 110020
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Billing to manage end-to-end billing operations, invoicing, collections follow-ups, reconciliations, and reporting. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of billing processes, GST compliance, accounting principles, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Verify billing data, contracts, purchase orders, and supporting documents before invoicing.
- Maintain billing records and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations and Clients for billing-related queries.
- Track outstanding invoices and follow up for payment collections.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoice-related issues.
- Prepare billing reports, MIS reports, and account statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GST regulations, and accounting standards.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of billing processes and invoicing.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally ERP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Billing, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.
- Experience in handling high-volume billing transactions will be preferred.
