2. Job Purpose
The Centralized Finance Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring financial operations across multiple branches/stores, ensuring proper accounting practices, fund management, financial reporting, compliance, and cost control. The role focuses on maintaining financial accuracy, supporting business decisions, and ensuring smooth coordination between branches and the centralized finance team.
3. Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Monitor daily financial transactions of all branches/stores.
- Verify sales collections, bank deposits, and cash handling processes.
- Ensure timely accounting entries in ERP/accounting software.
- Review branch expenses and ensure proper approvals.
- Coordinate with stores for daily financial updates and reconciliations.
Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profit margins, and operational costs.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Track outstanding payments, receivables, and vendor settlements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor budget utilization across departments and stores.
- Identify unnecessary expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Track store-wise profitability and operational efficiency.
- Support management in financial planning and forecasting.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate internal audits and support external audit requirements.
- Verify GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and statutory financial compliance records.
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Banking & Cash Flow
- Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements.
- Coordinate with banks regarding transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and salary processing support.
- Maintain proper tracking of advances and reimbursements.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with Accounts, Operations, HR, Purchase, and Store teams.
- Provide financial guidance to branch/store management.
- Support management with real-time financial data for decision-making.
4. Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Accuracy of financial records and reports.
- Timely completion of reconciliations and MIS reporting.
- Reduction in financial discrepancies and audit observations.
- Effective cost control and budget monitoring.
- Compliance with statutory and internal financial policies.
- Improvement in cash flow monitoring and payment management.

- Daily Sales & Collection Reconciliation Accuracy – 100%
- Monthly MIS Submission Timeliness – Before deadline
- Expense Variance Control – Within approved budget limits
- Audit Observation Closure Rate – 100% within timeline
- Vendor Payment Processing Accuracy – Error-free processing
- Cash Flow Reporting Accuracy – Real-time monitoring
6. Required Qualifications
- CA, ICWA
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance/accounts operations.
- Retail industry experience preferred.
7. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and banking processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
8. Working Conditions
- Regular coordination with multiple branches/stores.
- May require periodic travel for audit and financial verification.
- Ability to work under deadlines and reporting schedules.
9. Authority & Responsibility
- Review and verify financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Escalate financial discrepancies and compliance issues to management.
- Coordinate corrective actions with branch/store teams.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
