Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Creative Multimedia Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual design and video editing skills, along with a passion for creating engaging digital and interactive content across multiple platforms. This role also includes exposure to 3D design and game asset creation, contributing to immersive and visually compelling brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities1. Design & Visual Content Creation
- Create engaging graphics for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube (posts, ads, stories, carousels, reels).
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of layout, typography, and colour theory.
- Maintain consistent brand identity across multiple brands, ensuring correct use of visual elements, tone, and style.
Marketing & Digital Assets
- Design:
- Banners, flyers, brochures
- Email headers
- Presentation decks and one-pagers
Website & Digital Design
- Design website visual assets including:
- Hero images
- Landing page sections
- Blog thumbnails
- Web banners
2. UI/UX (Basic Awareness)
- Apply basic UI/UX principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly layouts.
- Design simple wireframes or screen layouts using tools like Figma when required.
3. Video Editing & Motion Graphics
- Produce short-form video content for:
- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Social media advertisements
- Edit raw footage into polished videos by:
- Cutting and sequencing clips
- Applying colour correction
- Adding text overlays, music, and effects
- Optimizing content for platform-specific formats
- Create motion graphics including:
- Animated text
- Transitions
- Visual effects
- Collaborate with the 3D animation team by:
- Editing video deliverables
- Adding graphic overlays to 3D renders
- Supporting tight production deadlines
4. 3D Design & Game Asset Creation
- Create and manage 3D assets using tools such as Blender and Substance Painter.
- Work on:
- Game modelling
- Character design
- Texturing and material creation
- Rigging and animation for assets
- Ensure assets are optimized for performance and usability in real-time environments (as part of the modelling pipeline).
5. AI Tools & Innovation
- Use AI tools such as RunwayML, Kling, and Pika to generate or enhance video content.
- Leverage tools like Midjourney and Adobe Firefly for creative concepts and asset generation.
- Utilize Canva AI and similar tools to accelerate content production while maintaining quality.
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools, design trends, and production workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design, video editing, and/or multimedia projects.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Figma
- Canva
- Blender
- Substance Painter
- Solid understanding of:
- Branding and visual storytelling
- Content strategy and audience engagement
- Social media trends and best practices
- Core skills in:
- Game modelling
- Character design
- Texturing
- Rigging and animation
- Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-8 years of experience working with AI-powered design and video tools.
- Exposure to motion graphics and 3D content production pipelines.
- Experience in gaming, AR/VR, or interactive media projects is a plus.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to generate fresh ideas quickly.
