Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Location : Mohali, Punjab
Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee end-to-end accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance for both India and Australia operations. The role requires strong expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and cross-border accounting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely statutory filings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
India Operations:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions with accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Handle vendor payments, operational expenses, and financial reconciliations. Maintain and update fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare and manage documentation for GST compliance and TDS filings.
- Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
Australia Operations:
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting activities for Australia entities. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments, loan repayments, general expenses, and overseas remittances.
- Prepare and review Business Activity Statement (BAS) submissions.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and superannuation payments in compliance with Australian regulations.
- Perform periodic reconciliations and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance: Finalize GST, TDS, and BAS filings within prescribed timelines.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements, reports, and statutory accounts. Manage income tax filings and overall tax compliance for the organization.
- Handle LUT filings and indirect tax compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) for lodgements and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee ASIC compliance, company renewals, and statutory filings.
- Support new company registrations, accounting system setup, and related verifications.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in Indian and Australian taxation laws (GST, TDS, BAS, Income Tax)
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in cross-border accounting and multi-currency transactions Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho Books
- Exposure to both Indian and international accounting practices will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
