We are seeking a qualified and dedicated PGT Chemistry teacher to teach students at the Senior Secondary level. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, a clear understanding of core concepts, and the ability to make Chemistry engaging and meaningful for learners. The role involves fostering scientific curiosity, supporting academic excellence, and preparing students for examinations through effective teaching and assessment practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Chemistry lessons effectively at the Senior Secondary level in alignment with the prescribed curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assessments to support conceptual understanding.
Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
Create an engaging and disciplined classroom environment that promotes scientific thinking and inquiry.
Provide academic guidance and regular feedback to students and parents.
Participate actively in school activities, examinations, meetings, and professional development programmes.
Ensure compliance with school policies, academic standards, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
Post Graduate degree in Chemistry.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the Senior Secondary level preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly.
Proficiency in English for effective communication and teaching.
