Position: Accountant
Location: Plot No. 13, Sector 82, Mohali (Near JLPL Industrial Area, opposite Canara Bank)
About Us
Skybites is a growing food‑tech/retail unit of Three Vee Marketing Pvt. Ltd., committed to quality, operational efficiency, and accurate financial controls. We are hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to own end‑to‑end accounting, compliance, payroll, vendor audits, and financial coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounting: maintain journals, ledgers, vouchers, and accurate books of accounts.
- Reconciliation: perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and other ledger balances.
- GST & TDS: prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure timely deposits of applicable taxes.
- Sales & purchase: handle sales and purchase bills, record invoices, and manage invoice workflows.
- EPF & ESI: make entries and ensure compliance for EPF and ESI contributions.
- Vendor audits: conduct regular audit/review of vendors and creditors, resolve discrepancies.
- Query resolution: follow up on all account-related queries and issues with various departments and stakeholders.
- Corporate & airline invoicing: prepare and manage invoicing for corporate clients and airline accounts.
- Payroll: prepare payroll, maintain leave records, and ensure statutory payroll compliance.
- Compliance: ensure accounts comply with statutory requirements and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
- Tax payments & returns: ensure regular deposit of taxes and filing of daily/fortnightly/monthly returns as required by authorities.
- Banking & payments: manage online banking, make regular payments, and maintain payment schedules.
- Reporting: prepare management reports, month-end close schedules, and support budgeting/forecasting.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 2–3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably with retail/food operations or MSMEs.
- Strong expertise in Tally ERP for day-to-day accounting and GST entries.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data validation, macros a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, EPF, ESI, payroll laws, and other statutory compliances.
- Experience handling vendor audits, reconciliations, and corporate invoicing.
- Experience with online banking and managing payments.
- Excellent communication and inter-departmental coordination skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and ability to meet deadlines.
