The Assistant Digital Marketing Manager will support the planning and execution of Saffronart’s digital marketing initiatives across auctions, brand campaigns and customer engagement. The role requires a data-driven marketer with strong content instincts, excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams while managing day-to-day marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
- Plan, execute and optimise digital marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid media.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on key digital marketing metrics.
- Stay updated on evolving digital marketing trends, platform updates, emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Work closely with external agencies to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
Content Marketing
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies for digital platforms including social media, email marketing and website content.
- Collaborate with editorial, design and other internal teams to create compelling campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging and visual communication across channels.
- Contribute to copywriting and content planning for campaigns, launches and engagement initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis
- Create regular reports and dashboards to evaluate campaign performance, audience engagement and marketing effectiveness.
- Analyse digital marketing data and present actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Track KPIs across campaigns and recommend data-backed improvements.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal departments including editorial, design, technology, sales and business teams to execute campaigns efficiently.
- Manage communication with external vendors, agencies and partners where required.
- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Team Management
- Support, mentor and manage junior team members.
- Allocate work, review deliverables and ensure efficient collaboration across the marketing function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, creativity and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing.
- Strong and up-to-date understanding of digital marketing platforms, performance marketing, email marketing, social media and content marketing.
- Excellent content marketing skills with proficiency in either copywriting or digital design.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in creating marketing reports and presentations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Software Proficiency
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Canva or equivalent digital design software
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the art, luxury, auction, culture or heritage sectors is an advantage.
- Understanding of audience development, brand storytelling and content-led marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM, email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools is a plus.
