Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead the planning and execution of live events from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should have 3–7 years of experience in event production, vendor management, fabrication, logistics, and on-ground execution.
The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating with internal teams, clients, vendors, and venue partners.
Key Responsibilities1. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and manage end-to-end event production.
- Develop production timelines and execution schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and technical recce.
- Coordinate event setup, execution, and dismantling.
- Ensure smooth execution of all event activities.
2. Vendor & Partner Management
- Identify and onboard production vendors.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts.
- Coordinate with:
- Fabricators
- Printers
- Lighting vendors
- Audio-Visual teams
- Stage contractors
- Decor vendors
- Logistics partners
- Equipment rental companies
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
3. Budget Management
- Prepare event production budgets.
- Monitor project costs and expenses.
- Ensure profitability by controlling production costs.
- Manage purchase orders, quotations, and invoices.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
4. Production & Fabrication
- Oversee fabrication of stalls, stages, booths, branding elements, and event structures.
- Ensure production aligns with approved designs.
- Conduct quality checks before dispatch.
- Coordinate with designers and production teams for modifications.
5. Logistics & Operations
- Plan transportation of event materials.
- Manage warehousing and inventory.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of production materials.
- Arrange manpower, equipment, and transportation.
6. Team Management
- Lead production executives, supervisors, and site teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and manage shifts.
- Coordinate with freelancers and temporary staff.
- Conduct pre-event briefing and post-event debriefing.
- Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
7. Client Coordination
- Attend client meetings.
- Understand project requirements and production expectations.
- Provide regular project updates.
- Resolve production-related issues promptly.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
8. Site Management
- Supervise event setup and dismantling.
- Ensure compliance with venue guidelines.
- Monitor production quality on-site.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed before event opening.
9. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety standards are followed.
- Conduct risk assessments before event execution.
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations.
- Verify electrical, structural, and fire safety standards.
- Ensure all staff use appropriate PPE where required.
10. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and maintain:
- Production schedules
- Event checklists
- Vendor database
- Budget reports
- Cost sheets
- Purchase orders
- Inventory reports
- Event execution reports
- Site inspection reports
- Project closure reports
- Vendor evaluation reports
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
