About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process design, engineering calculations, technology evaluation, and optimization of water and wastewater treatment systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in designing treatment solutions and supporting projects from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Perform process design calculations, hydraulic calculations, mass balance, and equipment sizing.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process reports, and technical specifications.
- Evaluate raw water and wastewater characteristics and recommend suitable treatment technologies.
- Support Greenfield, Brownfield, and Greyfield projects including plant expansion and retrofits.
- Conduct process optimization, troubleshooting, and performance improvement activities.
- Support commissioning and startup activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies for improved plant performance.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in MBR, MBBR, UF, RO, SBR, ASP technologies.
- Experience with Ceramic Membranes, Electrocoagulation (EC), DAF Systems, and Chemical Dosing Systems.
- Knowledge of BioWin, Bentley, Wave, IMS, and similar engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment processes.
- Experience handling treatment plants ranging from 1 MLD to 20 MLD and above.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Process Engineering.
- Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment engineering.
