Job Title: Senior Pharmacist

Job Summary
Jain Multispeciality Hospital is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Pharmacist to manage hospital pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing of medicines, maintain inventory, and support quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately as per doctors' prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines and medical supplies.
- Monitor medicine expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation as per hospital policies.
- Guide and supervise junior pharmacy staff.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for medication management.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and applicable pharmacy regulations.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm).
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration.
- 3–4 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy.
- Good knowledge of medicines, inventory management, and pharmacy software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts if required.
