Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present authentic South Indian dishes such as dosas, idlis, vadas, sambars, chutneys, and regional specialties.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen independently.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards as per guidelines (HACCP knowledge preferred).
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely food preparation and smooth kitchen operations during service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CDP or similar role with expertise in South Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional cooking techniques and regional variations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Leadership skills to manage and train team members.
