About the Role
Spectrum Solar is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support business development activities across the Malappuram region. The role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, helping clients identify suitable solar energy solutions while supporting the sales process from inquiry to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet prospective customers and understand their energy requirements.
- Conduct preliminary site visits and collect technical information required for solar system design.
- Recommend suitable solar solutions based on customer requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
- Support lead generation and business development activities in the assigned territory.
- Coordinate with the design, project, and service teams for successful project implementation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and ongoing projects.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development objectives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to customers.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Malappuram region.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license and own two-wheeler mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in renewable energy and customer-facing technical roles.
