Role Overview
Peace Power Private Limited is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee day-to-day factory operations, production planning, manpower management, quality compliance, and timely execution of manufacturing activities. The incumbent will act as the second-in-command to the Factory Manager and play a key role in ensuring smooth factory operations while supporting business growth, process improvements, and capacity expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Supervise manufacturing activities related to Link Boxes, Clamps, Cleats, and other cable accessory products.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth execution.
- Minimize production downtime and maximize machine and manpower utilization.
- Maintain accurate production records and daily reports.
Production Planning & Control
- Monitor and support weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Track work orders and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments to ensure material availability.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Manpower Management
- Supervise shop-floor personnel and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Conduct daily production meetings and communicate operational priorities.
- Support training and skill development initiatives for operators and workmen.
Quality Management
- Ensure adherence to approved quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Work closely with the Quality team to minimize rejection and rework.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality-related issues.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, factory rules, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Promote safe work practices and maintain high housekeeping standards across the factory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Electrical, or Transmission industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, shop-floor management, quality systems, and factory operations.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing high-value electrical products such as cable accessories, Link Boxes, Clamps, Cleats, or similar industrial products will be an added advantage.
