- Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Set up workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools, and machine offsets.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job cards.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Perform tool changes and make minor program or offset adjustments when required.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Record production data and report machine issues or quality concerns.
- Follow 5S, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.
- Meet daily production targets while minimizing rejection and rework
- Develop CNC programs for VMC machines using G-code/M-code or CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX CAM, PowerMill, etc.).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, 2D/3D models, and GD&T requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Optimize machining programs to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
- Perform prove-out of new programs and support first-piece approval.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and modify programs to improve quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with design, quality, and production teams for process improvements.
- Maintain CNC program backups and revision records.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and 5S practices.
- Support VMC operators during machine setup and production
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
