Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Consultant to support MTN SA's Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud programme. The role covers Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) for financial planning and its integration with Fusion Budgetary Control, together with the Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), which is already live and must be re-pointed from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion.
The consultant will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, integration and testing of the planning, budgeting and account-reconciliation processes, ensuring a smooth transition of source data from EBS to Fusion.
Key Responsibilities
Modules & Processes in Scope Module Processes in Scope EPBCS — Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (Financial Planning) Financial planning and budgeting; integration of Oracle EPM into Fusion Budgetary Control. ARCS — Account Reconciliation Cloud Service Re-point the existing ARCS reconciliation solution from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion; configure profiles, user groups, balance loads, reconciliation lifecycle, dashboards and reports. 3. Key Responsibilities 3.1 EPBCS — Financial Planning & Budgeting • Gather and document financial planning and budgeting requirements and translate them into EPBCS design (forms, dashboards, business rules, approvals). • Configure the Financial Planning model — dimensions, scenarios, versions, drivers and calculations — to support MTN SA's budgeting cycles. • Integrate Oracle EPM into Fusion Budgetary Control — design and configure the flow of approved budgets from EPBCS into Fusion Budgetary Control for funds checking and budget consumption. • Configure data integration between EPBCS and Oracle Fusion GL using EPM Data Management / Data Integration (and the EPM Integration Agent where required). • Build reports and dashboards and support the budget review and approval workflow. 3.2 ARCS — Account Reconciliation Cloud Service ARCS is already implemented and currently integrated with Oracle EBS. The key activity is to re-point ARCS to Oracle Fusion and configure the reconciliation lifecycle: • Re-point the ARCS data source from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion (GL and sub-ledger balances). • Create reconciliation Profiles. • Create User Groups and add users to the appropriate groups. • Load GL and sub-ledger balances into ARCS. • Create Reconciliations and configure formats, frequencies and period mapping. • Manage Reconciliations by Preparer — prepare, update and submit/approve reconciliations. • Manage Reconciliations by Reviewer 1 — review and approve or reject prepared reconciliations. • Provide an overview of reconciliation status using dashboards and reports. 4. Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years of Oracle EPM experience, including Oracle EPM Cloud implementations. • Hands-on configuration experience with EPBCS / Planning (financial planning and budgeting) — dimensions, forms, business rules and approvals. • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service), including profiles, formats, reconciliation lifecycle and preparer/reviewer workflow. • Experience with EPM Data Management / Data Integration and loading GL and sub-ledger balances from Oracle ERP (EBS and/or Fusion). • Understanding of Oracle Fusion Budgetary Control and integration of budgets from EPM. • Experience migrating or re-pointing EPM integrations from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud. • Ability to produce functional design documents, configuration workbooks and test scripts, and to lead SIT/UAT. 5. Preferred / Nice to Have • Exposure to other EPM modules (FCCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting / Tax Reporting). • Knowledge of Groovy / Calculation Manager scripting in EPBCS. • Telecom industry experience, ideally within the MTN group or similar multi-OpCo environments. • Oracle EPM Cloud certification (Planning and/or Account Reconciliation). 6.
