Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Captain to supervise daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, and lead the service team to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of stewards and floor staff during shifts.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests effectively.
- Take orders accurately and assist in upselling menu items.
- Maintain service standards, hygiene, and cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate duties to team members.
- Monitor table turnover and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for timely service.
- Train, guide, and motivate junior staff members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory control and reporting operational issues to management.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Captain/Floor Leader in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and team management abilities.
- Customer-centric approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate preferred.
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management/Hospitality will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
