Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in operating an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), preferably in a pigments, chemical, dyes, paint, or pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Monitor process parameters such as pH, TDS, COD, BOD, flow rate, and chemical dosing.
- Operate pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, and other ETP equipment.
- Prepare and dose treatment chemicals as per standard operating procedures.
- Collect and record water and effluent samples for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain daily logbooks, operating records, and shift reports.
- Ensure treated water complies with Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with the production team for effective wastewater management.
- Identify equipment issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE while handling chemicals.
- Support environmental audits and maintain compliance documentation.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the ETP area.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ETP operations and wastewater treatment processes.
- Understanding of pH correction, neutralization, coagulation, flocculation, filtration, and sludge handling.
- Ability to operate pumps, valves, blowers, and dosing systems.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and water quality parameters.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in pigments, chemical, dyes, paint, or specialty chemical industries.
- Knowledge of environmental compliance and Pollution Control Board regulations.
- Exposure to STP, RO, UF, MEE, or ZLD systems is an added advantage.
Salary
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
