Clinical Care
- Assess, diagnose, and manage infants, children, and adolescents with acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct ward rounds and develop treatment plans.
- Admit and discharge patients appropriately.
- Manage pediatric emergencies, including neonatal and pediatric resuscitation.
- Participate in outpatient clinics and follow-up care.
- Interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results.
Patient Safety and Quality Care
- Ensure safe, evidence-based medical practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and infection-control procedures.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise junior doctors, interns, and medical students.
- Coordinate patient care with nurses, allied health professionals, and other specialties.
- Support multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Teaching and Training
- Provide bedside teaching and clinical education to junior staff.
- Participate in continuing professional development and departmental educational activities.
- Contribute to training programs and teaching sessions.
On-Call Duties
- Participate in the pediatric on-call rota.
- Respond to emergencies in the emergency department, neonatal unit, pediatric wards, and intensive care areas as required.
- Provide advice and support to junior medical staff during out-of-hours periods.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent).
- Full registration with the relevant medical council.
- Experience in pediatrics, typically 0-2 years post-graduation depending on local requirements.
- Certification in pediatric life support (e.g., PALS, APLS, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Eligibility for specialty training or equivalent pediatric experience.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
