Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Physical Education Teacher to join our school. The candidate will be responsible for conducting physical education classes, engaging students in sports and fitness activities, and supporting the overall development of students through physical education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical education classes and sports activities for students.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate physical activities, games, and fitness exercises.
- Provide guidance and training in various sports.
- Encourage students to participate in sports and physical activities.
- Support the organisation of Annual Sports Day and other school sports events.
- Maintain discipline and promote safety during physical activities.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
- Take care of sports equipment and maintain a safe activity environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school management.
Qualification:
- B.P.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
- M.P.Ed. or relevant sports coaching certification will be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills:
- 3-5 years experience in Physical Education teaching or sports coaching is preferred.
- Experience in handling school sports activities and student training will be an advantage.
- Good communication, leadership, and student management skills.
- Knowledge of various sports and physical fitness activities.
- Ability to motivate and guide students.
