Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to expand our offline presence by appointing distributors, increasing retail reach, and driving sales across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Appoint and manage distributors.
- Expand retail coverage in assigned cities.
- Build relationships with supermarkets, gourmet stores, premium retailers, and wholesalers.
- Drive product placements and improve visibility.
- Work with distributors to ensure healthy stock levels.
- Monitor secondary sales and market performance.
- Identify new business opportunities in HORECA and corporate gifting.
- Conduct regular market visits and retailer meetings.
- Collect competitor pricing and market intelligence.
- Coordinate with marketing for promotional activities.
- Ensure timely collections and payment follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of FMCG sales experience.
- Experience in premium food, dry fruits, snacks, chocolates, or gourmet products preferred.
- Strong distributor network in assigned territory.
- Experience handling retail and distributor sales.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

Salary
45,000-50,000 (Based on Experience)
