Job Summary
Sameera Infrastructure Development and Project Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage project billing activities, contractor bill verification, quantity measurements, and coordination with project teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of construction billing processes, BOQs, rate analysis, and project documentation to ensure accurate and timely billing of all project works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify contractor and subcontractor bills based on work completed.
- Measure work quantities and certify bills as per approved BOQs and project drawings.
- Prepare Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills.
- Verify quantities, rates, and work completion before processing payments.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, QS, and Finance teams for billing approvals.
- Maintain accurate billing records, measurement books (MB), and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and company billing procedures.
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control and budget tracking.
- Prepare rate analysis for extra items and variation orders.
- Review purchase bills and material reconciliation reports.
- Support preparation of project cost reports and billing progress reports.
- Resolve billing discrepancies with contractors and vendors.
- Ensure timely submission of bills to avoid project payment delays.
- Maintain documentation related to client billing, contractor billing, and project records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8+ years of Billing Engineer experience in the Real Estate industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, RA Bills, and Final Bills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP/Billing software.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, estimation, and project documentation.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
