Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Biology Teacher to inspire students and foster a deep understanding of biological sciences. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, deliver the prescribed curriculum effectively, and encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and practical application of concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Biology lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (State/ICSE, as applicable).
- Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assessment materials.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and practical sessions while ensuring adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to help students achieve learning outcomes.
- Foster scientific curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations by strengthening conceptual understanding.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Contribute to science exhibitions, field trips, clubs, and other co-curricular activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a reputed school is desirable.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
