About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer / Associate Advocate to join our legal practice. The candidate will assist in handling matters related to Family Law, Criminal Law, Cyber Law, Consumer Law, and Cheque Bounce Cases (Section 138 NI Act). This role offers excellent exposure to litigation, legal drafting, client interaction, and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft legal notices, replies, complaints, applications, affidavits, written statements, petitions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs.
- Attend court proceedings before JMFC Courts, Family Courts, District & Sessions Courts, Consumer Forums, and other judicial authorities.
- Assist in filing matters and coordinating with court staff.
- Maintain case records, hearing schedules, and client files.
- Meet clients, understand facts of cases, and assist in case preparation.
- Draft and review agreements, MOUs, rent agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with police stations, government offices, and legal authorities when required.
- Assist senior advocates in litigation strategy and case management.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. Degree from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of litigation experience may apply.
- Good knowledge of procedural and substantive laws.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi drafting will be preferred.
- Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and legal research tools.
